Doyle Brunson funds DiCaprio's environmental documentary

Everybody knows Doyle Brunson, a poker celebrity who played in a few poker TV series and movies in the past. Recently, he started working behind the scenes in a completely different field by offering financial support to Leonardo DiCaprio's environmental documentary, "11th Hour".

This documentary will analyze the condition of the global environment and will unveil some possible solutions for restoring the ecosystems of the planet. DiCaprio co-wrote, narrated and created the documentary and Doyle Brunson is financing the film. Brunson stated that he is certain that through this documentary they will be able to raise a lot of awareness concerning a matter that deeply affects our world and could have shocking consequences in time if nothing is done.

The documentary, co-directed and written by Leila Conners Petersen and Nadia Conners, raises one of DiCaprio's favorite issues, the environment. DiCaprio stated that the global warming is only one of the difficult environmental challenges we face today, but one of the vital issues facing the humankind. He also sustained the fact that we all must play a part in the process of raising awareness and responsiveness about global warming and about the problems we face in promoting a reliable environmental future for our world.
