Keno.com Goes one Step Further
By Joni Hawk, Sep 7th 2006Keno.com Ltd. (UK), a totally owned subordinate of Gaming Transactions Inc. and provider for online gaming portal management, is more than happy to make known the fact that it has entered into an agreement with RedFelt Software Inc. to offer Keno.com some internet-based poker.
This specific software includes typical poker games of Texas Hold'em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud, together with some favorites such as Omaha Hi. Players shall be able to choose from ring game action, daily tournaments that have entries to the World Poker Tour, the World Series of Poker and other such major events.
The CEO, Patrick Smyth, declared: "Our user demographic on Keno.com is composed of a wide cross-section of players. The usual Keno player in New York has 45 years with a household income of more than $52,000. And more than 50% report having some college, together with the fact that over 50% of them are male. From Ontario, 58% of Keno players are males with the age between 25 and 44 years. With this wide base we now have the occasion to cross endorse our games with some additional mainstay products such as poker."
The research firm Christiansen Capital Advisors declares that online-poker revenues have grown from $82.7 million in 2001 to $2.4 billion in 2004 and that the predictable sum was close to $5 billion for 2005.
