John Juanda is also called Mr.Nice Guy because of his personality; everybody that talks with him can't say a bad word about him because he is always calm and kind to the persons around him. He is like this because he knows luck is on his side.
The premised Bible Salesman
John was born in Indonesia in 1971 and he remembers that since his childhood he was good at everything he did; he was the best at his school track's team, at almost any event. When he was 19, in 1990 he went to America to attend a college. He attended Oklahoma State University and later at the University of Seattle. He worked as a Bible salesman and in this domain he was the best as well, he even received a prize.
Once he went into a casino and played Blackjack, a game he loved, but he was also interested in poker. Unfortunately he didn't knew the poker rules, but he went and bought a book which described the basic poker rules, he read it and went to the casino to play the game. He has an instant success just like in everything he does.
Calm and Lucky
Juanda is a very aggressive poker player, and giving his luck many shy to play the pot against him. They know luck is on his side and that they will end up losing. John doesn't play the game very often, although he has 3 WSOP bracelets. He basically plays when he needs money or when he feels like it.
Future Doctor?
John thinks of becoming a doctor since he doesn't consider poker a living, just a quick way to make money. With his luck who knows maybe he will become one sooner than we expect.
