Richard Lee is from San Antonio, Texas and he wanted everybody to know that at the 37th annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, when he wore a San Antonio T-shirt. He was behind Allen Cunningham and Jamie Gold in chips, and he was one of the fewest people that did not advertised for a casino, or a hotel or other things like that.
He almost made it to the final table at the Grand Slam of Poker in Los Angeles, but he eventually finished on the 12th place, something many players dream of. In 2006 he finished on the 6th place at the World Series of Poker, winning $2.8 million, a personal record.
He has a wife and three children and he is very proud of them as well as he is of his country, and his city. At the final table he managed to outlast three players because of his tight playing style. He made some mistakes at the table but nothing to be embarrassed of because he finished in an honorable place and became wealthier by a few millions.
