Scott Lazar a.k.a Magic, got his nickname not from his magic at the poker table, but because of his former job, a magician. Scott lives in California and before playing poker he was a magician and a production assistant for an independent film company.
Scott is known for his opposite behavior at the poker table. One minute he can react in a certain way, the other minute he can react completely opposite. He behaved like this at the 36th Annual World Series of Poker where he changed his moments of brilliance into moments of bizarre behaviors. But even so with all those changes he managed to win 1.5 million dollars and finish on the 6th place.
He had struggles in his personal life, he had problems with alcohol for a period of time, and because of that he divorced. Now he manages to keep that under control and focus his attention on his child. If he could control like that at the poker table the future looks very bright for Scott. Let's just hope he won't react like that upper mentioned incident.
